Projects For Josh

Josh and I have been preparing our house for the BABY and well finally getting to projects we have been wanting to get to. We are not even close to being done but here are some pictures of what I have had Josh doing for me. I did help a little but I think I am more of a pain than a help.

We are finally painting our house, here are some pictures of what it looks like, you can see how white our walls were compared to the new color. It looks so good and we are almost done! I think Josh is planning on finishing it this week.

One Saturday my Mom and I went shopping while Josh took his tests, I came home with a new dresser for us, we have been needing one for so long! And he was lucky enough to get to put it together. I got it at IKEA, love that place! Such great deals and the dresser is really nice!

First House Problem....

So last Sunday morning we had our first home ooops! Our toilet flooded, the handle gets stuck and keeps running well this time it just kept filling up! I heard the toilet flush and seriously not even 5 minutes later there was 2 inches of water in the bathroom and going into the hall way. I screamed for Josh to get up and him and Shane came running out to the hallway, both in their undies, it was funny. So we had buckets trying to get all teh water out off the floor. We got a shampooer and were able to get a lot of the water up that way then we had to pull the carpet up so it would dry out. There was so much water that it leaked through the garage. I was glad it was the garage and not into our basement because we have new furniture and all. So there was Josh, Shane and Josh's Dad cutting up our sheet rock. But all is well and there was no serious damage! Oh the wonderful life of home ownership!
