While Mitt Romney continues to hold respectable leads in most Republican polls for president of the United States, he still has numerous critics who find fault with his faith: Mormonism. In a world full of turmoil and conflict, corruption and dishonesty, hate and moral decay, and a serious questioning of governmental leadership capable of changing our course of direction, perhaps his faith -- Mormonism -- "is" a strong reason he should definitely become the Republican nominee and the next president of the United States.


Mitt Romney's character, attitude, and example and his governmental and economic experience speak volumes about his ability to lead our troubled country and will have far-reaching influence in Washington and throughout America. His record of success, his ability to effectively communicate, his ability to teach and get individuals to work together, and again, the exemplary way he has lived his life as a devoted and honorable husband, father, grandfather, and governmental leader, are the qualities greatly needed in our next president. If people understood the Mormon religion and all that it stands for, each of us would give Romney serious consideration as a person who could begin to redirect and lead America in the direction we need to be going.

He, his qualities, his strong individual and Mormon beliefs, and his previously proven strong leadership capabilities are the reasons why we should trust the presidency to Mitt Romney. Yes, his Mormon faith -- which dictates honesty, civility, forgiveness, hard work, mercy, love, morality, thrift, gratitude, marriage, family and optimism -- is a strong reason we should elect him.

The Equality Act forbids discrimination in the provision of goods and services on the basis of sexual orientation. The law was forced through Parliament last year despite past Prime Minister Tony Blair's recommendation that Catholic adoption agencies be exempted from the rules. We voted years ago to keep traditional marriage as the only marriage recognized in the state of California, 4 judges overturned our vote…and we need to fight back. This is happening everywhere and the leaders of the church and others have warned that the outcome of California’s vote will affect the way the other states vote.
