Pike's Market was so cool! I was able to see them "throw the fish" which was awesome! There were so many sail boats also, I couldn't believe it, then when I heard the cost of a sail boat I about fell off my chair!!! There were tons of different stands at Pikes market with people selling all sorts of things; jewelry, art, produce that looked delicious and my favorite, gorgeous flowers!! And they were so cheap, I couldn't believe it, I wanted to buy some so bad but had no way of keeping them fresh. You could get the most beautiful boquet for only $5.00!
Our last day there we were able to go down to the Locks and were able to see a tug boat get lowered into the ocean. That was really neat!!!
Seattle is an amazing city and I am sure I didn't even see all that it has to offer, I highly recommend everyone visiting the city. When I was a little girl we lived in Stilacom, and I remember some things but not much and never really understood why my Mom, Dad and sister loved it so much but now I can see why. When we were walking the streets by Pike's Market, and area formally known as "skid Row" I could picture my Dad right there in the middle of it all. It really made me miss him and I wish I could have been able to be there with him. I am hoping to plan a family trip up there with all my family, I think my Mom would love to go back! Thanks Kyle for showing us around!!
