Last week I was pretty sick and ended up getting Laringitis (spelling?). It sucked! I was in bed for 2 days and by the second day (Wed) I had cabin fever pretty bad. So I begged Josh to take me for a ride up the canyon to look at all the pretty leaves changing color!
We started our date at Bajio, oh how I love that place! I go in spurts and just want either bajio or cafe rio! One weekend I wanted it 2 nights in a row. Anyways, back to our date. We ate a yummy dinner then headed up trappers loop and went to snow basin to see all the fall leaves. It was a cool crisp night just perfect for leaf gazing. :)
I had never been up there so it was a nice getaway for me. My husband was so nice to take me up there after a long day of work and he still had a lot of homework. Thanks babe!
We did take some pics I will post them later.
So today I decided I didn't feel like working and really wanted to do yard work...how wierd is that. So I took a vacation day and spent the day out in my yard clearing out some of my planters so I could plant some bulbs! I love Tulips so I headed over to Lowe's here in good old Clinton city and well let's just say it took me forever to decide what I wanted to get. But I did get my big bag of bulbs and came home and started digging! It felt so nice to get outside in the fresh air and enjoy nature! It seriously is like therapy! I am so grateful for this beautiful world God has given us to enjoy!
However I did find lots of creeping crawling things while I was enjoying the earth....I saw so many worms!! I was actually impressed with myself that I didn't totally freak out when I saw them. One was sooo long, I wish I would have gotten my camera but I didn't. However I did find the BIGGEST, UGLIEST SPIDER ever!!! I took a picture and will post it tomorrow. It is gettting late and Josh keeps telling me its time for bed.

We took that drive just 2 days ago! There weren't as many red leaves as I'd like, but it was still beautiful. I'm glad to hear you're better. We miss you guys!
Fun! I love tulips. Eww, please don't post a picture of a spider, lol.
Sounds like a much needed day for you, I love tulips. Good job Ash, you are becoming the greatest home owner out there.
