So last week was the craziest week ever! I woke up early Monday morning about 130am extremely sick!! I think I got food poisoning! It was horrible! I didn't think it was possible to be in that much pain. So I was having some cramping pains in my stomach and was a little worried. So I called the doctor and they had me go in on Thursday to get it checked out before I went on my work trip. Well he order for me to get a FFN test at the hospital on Friday afternoon and put me on bed rest until then. I felt like I had totally over reacted and kind of felt stupid for going to the doctor, because I didn't feel like it was that bad. Well Friday came and my Mom took me up to McKay Dee and I got the test. Well it came back positive, which means that you can possibly go into labor within the next 2 weeks. Which really isn't good since I am only 29 weeks. I was having contractions 7 minutes apart, which I had no idea. I didn't think they were contractions at all. So they admitted me to the hospital for dehydration and to get on some meds to stop the contractions. So there we were in the hospital on Friday night. It totally sucked! They gave me a steriod shot in case I did end up going into labor to help the baby's lungs develop. Which those shots hurt so so bad!!!
Saturday morning we still hadn't heard from our doctor yet and it was 1030am. I had a shower to be to at noon so I was kind of freaking out! Luckily my mother in law's really good friend works on the labor and delivery floor and came over to check on me after she heard from Nancy. She went over my chart and since I wasn't having contractions and was hydrated she called my doctor at home and got me released! THANK YOU CAROL! Any one who delievers at McKay Dee you want Carol as your nurse! She was awesome and got me out of there and I was home by 11am. So a quick bath and refreshing and I was off to my Baby shower that Josh's Mom and Sisters did for me!

Here are some pictures from the shower, it was so much fun! My mother in law did such a good job! Her games were so creative and so HARD!

Here I am coming from yet another potty break!

We got so many cute things! We totally got hooked up! It was way nice!

This box was full of blankets and quilts from Josh's Aunt Sherri, she makes the cutest stuff!!

Here is Kendra prepping the yummy food, it was sooo good! She made the best cupcakes!
So now Its MOnday and I had to go meet with my doctor this morning, and well I am officially on bedrest for the next 7 weeks. (he wants this baby boy to stay in that much longer). So I am going to be extremely bored but I figure its only 7 weeks out of my life and well if it means keeping this baby healthy I will handle it. So I am going to learn to crochet and do burp cloths and my aunt is going to bring over the stuff to set up for making quilts and well for every 2 hours I am up I have to be down for 2 hours. So hopefully I can find ways to occupy my time. Any one wanting to come over feel free I am here all week!

Oh, you poor thing. You are right though, that healthy baby boy will make it all worth it. Hope you have got plenty of books and movies to keep you occupied. Hang in there!!
I saw you were on bedrest on facebook, now I know...I don't know much about bed rest but I feel for you...if you are making a scrapbook you could get some pages together before he arrives :) If I think of any other ideas to keep you busy I'll let you know!
You poor thing! I am so sorry you are on bed rest but good that they were able to catch things before they got worse. Looks like you had a great shower!
Oh, Ashlee! I am so sorry that you have had such a terrible time and I didn't even know about it! It must have been all that laughing the other night, watching us make fools of ourselves playing that silly game! If you need ANYTHING, please call me! I would love to help. Keep that little guy healthy!

You poor thing....but it will be all worth in when that little baby is here! Good luck with everthing!heata
Gotta keep that kid healthy so on our next camping trip he can keep us up the way Max did to you on the last one.
Good luck. I actually am on bed rest right now too. My doctor just ordered strict bed rest for about two weeks to see if my contractions would subside. Keep him in there and take it easy. I wish I lived closer, I would be there to keep you company.
