Well we finally did it, we made it through 5 straight hours of sleep, awake for oh about 10-15 minutes then 2 more hours of sleep. I read babywise and other books about feeding and sleeping schedules and Tate got on the feeding schedule pretty quickly however, it was hard keeping is sleep schedule going because we were never home in the evenings and well because I am a first time parent and when he fusses I usually go to him.
Since I am starting work full time on MOnday I am thinking I need to buckle down! No more late nights, with some encouragement and pep talks and advice from my great friends, we had a great night last night and lets pray he does that well tonight. :)
He is sleeping in his own room now and wow that makes all the difference in the world.

Way to go Ash! We did Babywise with Matti. I think it really helped. Hang in there, and good luck going back to work!
Good job Ash!! Glad to hear it. How is the job, by the way?
Go Tate! Sleeping in their own room makes a huge difference! You don't hear every move! Stay strong but also remember to follow your own instincts what works for us might not be what he needs! They are only babies once right! :)
The best thing that worked for us was getting the baby to sleep without feeding them first....that way they didn't wake up in the middle of the night and expect to get nursed again. But that took us til our third to figure it out (or to be diligent and actually do what we said we were goin g to do...lol) He is so precious, Good luck going back to work I'm sure it won't be easy but you can do it!!!
Nice work!
Hey Ash! That is great! He is only little once though, I miss Chanelle being that little and needing to sleep with us! Sorry we couldn't make it to Tate's baby blessing. I sent you a text and a package though. We miss you! Maybe we could get together when I come up for my next OB appointment. Love ya guys!
