So I am not sure how many of you know but in August SuperValu announced that they were selling the Albertsons Utah market to Associated Foods Inc. Well I had just returned to work the day before from my maternity leave, so nothiing like a welcome back to work! It all seems really exciting though, especially for the stores. There are going to be some great things happen with our stores and I hope all of you will stick around to find out what it is going to be! The sale hasn't closed yet and so I am still a SuperValu employee. Which is great. I have worked for Albertson pretty much my entire working career except for 2 years. I started when I was 16 at the West Layton Albertsons (it's now closed). Life back then was great, making 5.15 an hour and not a care in the world!
Back to my story, so since I am a corporate employee I am not considered part of the sale and so I had to apply with Associated Foods, that was easy. They are very normal down to earth people. Real Grocers. Now, they don't have a safety program like what Albertsons currently has and I am really really praying that they will still make me a part of their team. So everyone keep me in your prayers!
Well if I do get hired on with AF's then I more than likely will not be able to take any time off once the sale closes because of everything that will need to get done. I will become a workaholic!
So TODAY I DECIDED TO SPEND WITH MY BABY! I could seriously get used to being home and cleaning my house and playing with my baby all day! Oh the life. I figured I should probably get a lot of one on one time with him before the HOLIDAYS hit because for those of you who know retail, it gets pretty busy!

Life as a stay at home mom is the best hu! But good luck with work! You will have to take off time to come see my new house though! I love ya Ash, cherish every moment you can, they grow up too fast!
