Tate's 1st 4th of JULY was filled with lots of activities! As you can see he was very excited about the 4th!
We spent the day visiting different sites outside of DC because we knew the crowds would be crazy. We visited the Aero space museum which was way neat!

UP in the control Tower
We also visited the Menassa Battle Field where the first battle of the Civil War was Fought, It was such a beautiful place, hard to imagine that a war took place there.

Josh took these pictures, because I was in the car nursing Tate, so needless to say I missed out on some of these sites.
But I did get my picture with a cannon! Woo Hoo
This guy was telling us all about the type of guns used in the Civil War, Black Powder, it was not as exciting as we thought because well, all the guys in Josh's family use black powder rifles and so we already knew how the use them. It was kind of funny.

Looks like a fun trip! Did you cut your hair? It looks so cute! I really need to come visit and see Tate (when I can get up in the morning and keep breakfast down) and before we get too involved with the new house. I miss you and Chanelle loves saying your name when I talk about you! Love ya!
