4th of July

We spent the 4th of July weekend out in Tooele. I was so excited to spend time with my family and actually stay the night!

Friday night we had a BBQ with Chelese and Steve and his sister and brother in law and his cousins. it was so much fun, Gavin and Tate had fun playing, it was fun to watch them and then Steve and chelese brought this, its the human boomerang, seriously the funnest thing ever!!!

Saturday morning Tate and I headed out to T-Town. We started at the Park to see Mattison (cousins little girl) dance, she was so cute! We then went swimming up at Ali's parents pool. It was so much fun. This was Tate's first experiance in a real pool, and at first he wasn't so sure, especially with all the big kids splashing and yelling but after a while of sitting on the step he loved it. He actually didn't want to get out.

We then headed over to Grandma's for a yummy BBQ and then off to the Rodeo. I was soo excited to go to the Tooele BitnSpur rodeo for the 4th of July, something we did all the time when we were in Jr high and high school. But sad to say, I was a little disappointed. There wasn't much entertainment (other than the rodeo itself). The Barrell racing and Bronc riding was by far our favorite. Tate did seem to like it though, he kept watching all the bugs up at the lights, it was funny.

After the rodeo, we headed over to the McCoy's For fun fireworks! Every year we sit at my Aunt and Uncles' house do fireworks and listen to the scanner for any fires, well this year my cousin Matt, was on the Squad this year, his first and We loved having him pull up lights flashing and all in the fire truck. :)
Sunday we had the privilage of attending Matt and Alison's new baby's baby blessing. Mason Micheal McCoy was blessed on the actual 4th of July. He is the most handsome little guy!.
We of course had more yummy food and visiting and then that night did another round of fireworks at Matt and Ali's house.


Jamie and Haylee and Kevin finally made it from Tuscon as well and so Tate got to meet them for the very first time. We had a lot of fun!!
Tate and I ended up staying another night and Monday we just relaxed and then headed home for a BBQ with Josh's family. It was an overall great weekend full of Fun, Family, Friends and FOOD!!
