St.George FUN!

A few weeks ago I had to go to Cedar City for work for a Team Meeting at the Fresh Market there. It was my first time being away from both Tate and Josh since Tate was born, and well it was weird, I missed my two Guys so much. Especially since I was away from them for two nights. I drove down to Cedar city Wednesday morning, and then went to St.George thursday evening, it was a surprise for Jess, she had no idea I was coming and I loved it!!

Josh, Tate, Steve and Chelese drove down on Friday afternoon. Once they got here we all went out to eat with Heather at Pasta Factory and just visited.

I have to back up a little bit.....all week while I had been gone Tate was really fussy, he wouldn't eat, was sleeping okay, but very very onery. Crying almost constantly, but then he would be fine, so we were thinking, his eye teeth are coming in, it has to be that.

Friday night after I gave him a bath, I noticed a Large lump on his left side, in the low abdomen/hip area. I touched it and he started crying like crazy. I ran him down stairs to where Jess and Heather and Chelse were to ask them what they thought and all said hernia, so off the Dixie Regional ER we went. ( it was after nine so no insta care).

The doc looked at him and felt around as Tate screamed his head off, and said yup its a hernia, keep him calm all weekend and when you get home Monday call your Pediatrician and he will see you. Keep him on Tylenol as needed for pain, but if he stays calm it shouldn't bulge.

So thats what we did, Tate got whatever he wanted all weekend!

So this is what Saturday consisted of, swimming, eating, more swimming, laying in the sun, and umm eating and SWIMMING!! Hotel Shattuck is by far the best! Thanks Heather for letting us crash at your house. It was so fun to relax and swim and play with the pups and of course get to finally visit with you and Jess!
