Clinton 19th Ward Campout

All Summer we have been planning trips to go camping, and everytime we did Tate was ending up sick at the hospital so finally we were able to go camping and it was our wards annual camp out up at Camp Woodland up by Morgan, it was beautiful up there, I wouldn't mind living up there at all, as long as I didn't have to commute!
It was fun, good food, and good company. I love my ward I have made some pretty fun friends!! Tate had a lot of fun too, he loves being out side so this was his cup of tea. Except when it came time to bed time, that is when the fun really started.....

As you can see he is WIDE awake! We have a decent size tent so with our airmattress up and the pac n play there was still room for Tate to cruise around in, he just kept walking around his pac n play over and over again, once he started getting tired he would lay his head down on his blanket but then pop back up.
We decided let's take him for a drive, that alwyas works in times like these, so a little before 11 pm we took Tate for a drive, sure enough it worked! when we got back to the camp, the gate was locked, we didn't know they locked the gate at night. So we climbed the fence, Josh handed me Tate in his car seat, and we walked down to our tent and went to bed. Well of course Tate woke up in the wee hours of the morning, and was pretty much wide awake until about 6am and finally fell back asleep. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep but it was still fun.

In the moring we went up to East Canyon Dam, it was beautiful!! Loved it up there, Tate wasn't so sure at first but soon he was fast asleep and he slept the entire time we were out on the boat, about 2 hours.

It was so fun to wake board I haven't done it for two years since i had Tate last summer. I did pretty good to for it being so long. But I will tell you what, I am sore today!! I used muscles I haven't used in a while
